Letters To Lola – The Little Things
If I have a moment when I appear not be listening please, continue to do what you do.
Come over to me and tell me quietly
“mummy, it’s really important that you listen to me”
I am so fortunate to have a daughter who at four years old is articulate enough to communicate in this way and I understand that when you say those words what you mean is
“mummy, this is important to me – right now”
Your four year old brain will be off exploring again soon and if I miss the moment I am missing an opportunity to see into your world.
Thank you for sharing the little things with me,
I love you
About the Author
Thank you for visiting. I am first and foremost, a single mum to a beautiful daughter. The other hat I wear is an author who loves to travel and learn, inspiring others along the way. As a parent, I am driven to inspire my daughter through the world around us. I am very aware that life is short and I don't want to find myself looking at Lola at 16, thinking "wow, where did the time go!"
